Seeing Céline Dion

Growing up Céline Dion was a lady I knew who sang My heart Will Go On and let her kid have long hair. As I've grown up, I've seen how influential and how amazing she really is. When it came to seeing her in concert, I wanted to go because I thought my mom would really enjoy it, but I really ended up enjoying it.

I had a really hard time getting tickets because of how many options Ticket Master had for seats. Finally I figured out how to get regular admission tickets and there wasn't much left, so the floor it was! At this point I had to convince everyone who was coming to get these tickets because they were around $300. They were so worth it just to not have to stand in a bathroom line or be shoved at the concessions (bar) line.

The concert was in Quebec City at Centre Vidéotron. What a great concert location! They have a whole system for pick ups and drop offs and I've literally never had an easier time getting out of a concert in my life.

Céline's set list:

It's All Coming Back to Me Now

Dans un autre monde

Terre

À vous

I'm Alive

The Power of Love

L'amour existe encore

Beauty and the Beast

Encore un soir

You're the Voice

Regarde-moi

Ziggy

Courage

All by Myself

Lying Down

Tous les blues sont écrits pour toi

S'il suffisait d'aimer

Let's Dance / Another One Bites The Dust / Flying On My Own / Kiss / River Deep, Mountain High / Lady Marmalade

My Heart Will Go On

Pour que tu m'aimes encore

She had an amazing range of costumes. A red cocktail dress, a black pant and white top with very large sleeves, a black lace gown, a silver 70's jumpsuit, and then for the encore a lavender crinoline gown that was so big.

I really enjoyed my time seeing her, I loved that she only spoke french and that she played french music that I am just not exposed to in my day-to-day life. It rekindled my relationship with French music. If you're not sure you want to see Céline, you need to before you die, it's amazing.

Thanks for reading,

Samantha
