Road Travels: Montréal

I love visiting Montréal, I do it all the time, but I've never really done a food tour of Montréal. Now, that being said, I didn't get everything on everyone's list of good food. That would be impossible.
I did however start my day at Jean Talon Market, where we went to the Boulangerie Première Moisson. I got an almond chocolatine, IT WAS AMAZING. Not like a croissant, but more of a cake with a croissant crust. It was divine. I also got macarons, but they went missing.
Then we went to Milano in Little Italy. What an amazing urban grocery store. It was packed with Italian goods. I got Parmesan Reggiano and Truffle oil. I can't wait to use them in a dish.
Then we went to St-Viateur Bagel which is in the Orthodox Jewish community. I was so excited to see the bagel shop and get bagels. We bought 12, the flavour of the bagels are amazing, but I found they went stale quickly. I still ate them though.
After the bagels, we headed to Peel Street where the Barbie Expo was. I grew up with Barbies so this was so interesting to see.
The last stop of the day was Reuben's for lunch. I had never been, I got a smoked turkey melt since I can't have the smoked meat they serve. They put coleslaw on the sandwich, which was so good. It was very salty though, so I was super dehydrated through church. Not a good combo.
On the next day, we went to Carrefour Laval, I got some travel shadows to change up my M.A.C. quad. I didn't go to Sephora though. Then I spent time with family and then we drove home the day after.
I love visiting family it's always nice to see how they are doing.
