9 Things That Make Me Happy All The Time
I recently put a poll out on Instagram asking if people wanted a life post or a post about my trip to Italy (I'll still do that). Mostly everyone wanted a post about life. Then I asked what kind of life post you all would like to see. Ya'll wanted a post just about my life (sorry, I am watching the Blind Side and in my head my accent is southern).
I will be honest, I don't do life lately posts because I get up, I go to work, and I live a very normal life. I am not doing crazy exciting things. I do really regular human things. Like everyone else, I take care of the house, I exercise, and I have a full time job. I enjoy living sustainably, relaxing a lot at Avalon, and ultimately I just do what I like.
When it came time to draft this, I didn't know what to write about, so I decided to write about nine things that make me happy no matter what.
1) The smell of wet mulch and a cool dewy morning
To me New Brunswick smells like rain and wet mulch. The smell of a cold dewy morning is so soothing and relaxes me.
2) BBQ and pineapple
I love pineapple and bbq. Such a good flavour combination.

3) Riding my bike
I spend a lot of time riding my bike around town to not drive my car and pay for parking. It makes me really happy.
4) My garden
My garden is my baby. I can't have a dog in this house, so I have gardens. This year was not a good growing year, but it was fun to watch.

5) Dogs
I'm not looking at you, I am looking at your dog. I love dogs, they are the best, they are so joyful and so wonderful to have around.
6) Pumpkins
Pumpkins are my favourite thing. I had 13 last year on my deck. I am going for more this year.

7) Soup
I love comforting things. Soup is amazing.
8) Baseball
Have you ever seen a live baseball game? I grew up going to the Expos in Montreal, now I love baseball movies and sometimes we go to live games.

9) The smell of strawberries during strawberry season
If you see a lady smelling strawberry containers at the store and exclaiming "Ohhh I love it". It's me.
