Chrissy Teigen's Famous Banana Bread

Who else follows Chrissy Teigen on Twitter? Who here still uses Twitter? Anyways, I was follow her and it's glorious. She is comical and smart, it brings me joy to watch her. Back when she was testing out recipes for her second cookbook, she needed banana's, so she went to twitter to get ripe banana's because I hope as most of you know that you cannot buy ripe banana's at the store.

I wish I lived in the LA area.
Anyways, her cookbook came out and I did do a review on it, but for some reason the banana bread story didn't really hit me as something I should do for the blog. Then when I was finding another recipe, I found the banana bread recipe and remembered seeing her tweet about it.
I love banana bread, but every time I try to make it in my oven it never rises. I was a little hesitant about making banana bread, but we had the old banana's and I wanted to buy a bunt pan. I don't think the pan is 100% necessary, but it looks nice.
I am not going to share the recipe because I think people should buy the cookbook, but I will tell you the recipe was super easy to follow. There are ingredients I wasn't expecting, like vanilla pudding mix and coconut, but the coconut makes it moist. I really enjoyed making the bread, but if you cut this recipe in half and bake it in a regular pan it would also work.
It was fun to make and like I've mentioned before, she is a real chef and not just a model chef.
