Taylor Swift at Gillette Stadium

I don't like concerts. I like theatrical performances, I like when an entertainer takes the time to actually add to just playing music. Life isn't just about doing the bare minimum, it's about entertaining the masses in a way that makes us feel like we are the only ones in the room. Playing music is fine, but making me and the other 66,828 people feel important is spectacular.
Three years ago, on July 7, 2015, I went to see Taylor Swift for the first time in Montréal. We were three rows from the wall and it was incredible. It was the best show I've ever been to. It set the bar so high that the next time I went to the concert, it was Taylor Swift.
This time the closest concert was in Boston at Gillette Stadium. If you've even been to a concert at Gillette Stadium, you know that it's an absolute F-ing mess getting in and out. It's so far from Boston that there is no public transportation to the stadium. So approximately 30,000 cars have to find themselves at the stadium, pay $40 a car (ridiculous) and then they all leave at the same time. IT'S A MESS... did I mention that? We actually saw a helicopter land near the end of the concert, which sounds like the way to leave. However, Gillette Stadium makes approx. $1,200,000 for every event. No wonder they don't have public transportation come in for events. Okay, I am done complaining about that.
Another thing about Gillette Stadium, you need a small clutch or a see-through bag to enter. Otherwise, you need to throw your bag out and place all your items in a plastic bag they give you. I blame gun violence.
Back to the concert!!!! We got to the Stadium and walked about a kilometre to get to the entrance. We were greeted by this old man who said and I quote "I am not a fan of Taylor Swift, but she puts on a great show and made a fan out of me"... I knew this would be good. Then you get a bracelet that lights up when the first song starts and it changes colour for every song.
Charli XCX started the concert off and she was so good live! Then Camila Cabello played and she was amazing and came out in a Pat's jersey. TBH, I went to the bathroom during the end of her set, so I didn't see all of it, but she was really good live as well!
The concert starts with "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett, which I haven't stopped listening to. Then theres a montage of newscasts about her and ruining her reputation. I was enamoured with how she took over the narrative of her reputation.
She started with Are you Ready For It and entered to smoke cannons. It was epic! The whole concert was epic. Then she performed I did Something Bad. Every time she sang the word "bad", FIRE CANNONS WENT OFF and FIRE WORKS!

Then she played Gorgeous and a medley of Style, Love Story, and You Belong with Me. (so special)
Here's where I mention I was in the same stadium as Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Gigi Hadid. Blake and Ryan's child is the little voice at the beginning of Gorgeous.
Then in Act 2, an inflated snake came out of the stage! I love how she just takes the narrative over when it comes to her and I think that's what we should all do. It was perfect.

No big deal at all.
She played Look What You Made me Do, End Game, and King of my Heart.
In Act 3, she made her way to the opposite end of the stadium via this lit up moving platform. She sang Delicate. Then she sang Shake it Off and I almost cried because that song means the world to me. She also sang Ours acoustically which was mesmerizing.
Then in act 4, she walked across the crowd in the crowd to the other stage. She sang Blank Space and Dress. There were also more snakes.

Then a snake cage picked her up and she crossed the audience again signing Bad Blood and Should've Said No. Like OMFG, who does that?! Taylor Does!!!!

In act 5, she sang Don't Blame Me and Long live/ New year's Day on the Piano and it was wonderful. ( I have no pictures)
In act 6, she sang Getaway Car, Call it What you Want, and a for the finale, she sang a medley of We Are Never Getting Back Together and This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things! She had a water fountain as a prop to sing on. THEN THERE WAS A FIREWORKS SHOW. And at this point I knew we needed to get out, so my pictures are limited and bad.
The Taylor Swift Reputation Stadium Tour was incredible! It was the best concert I've ever been too and it was visually stunning. She really outdid herself for this stadium tour and I felt so special.
