25 Things to do Before 25

I was going to share my new years resolutions and goals and positive affirmations, but I don't want too because I haven't thought of anything. I don't really have new years resolutions, I just want to work on myself. Like, I don't want to promise to myself "hey, you're going to lose weight, or you're going to be amazing" all year, when I can't grantee that. I don't know what 2018 holds, but I can't have goals I don't know I can keep.
Then I saw a post about 25 things to do before 25 and it sparked an interest. I have six months before my 25th birthday. So I have six months to accomplish this bucket list. I also ensured that these are substantial items that I've never done before, so I know it can happen. I'm also going to document it with pictures, as best I can.
1. Step out of my comfort zone.
There are things I am comfortable with and some I am really not. Like talking to new people for no specific reason. I'm going to talk to more people.

2. Re-open my RRSP.
I have to think of my retirement in 36 years.
3. Buy a diamond.
It doesn't need to be big, but I want a diamond, or maybe some nice studs. I'm turning 25, we need to commemorate this.
4. Hit a fitness goal.
Swim laps for 30 minutes and do a headstand off the wall (and actually hold it).
5. Get my Barre Instructor Certification.
I'm so excited for this, I'm finally getting a teacher certification in something! Even if I never use it, I'll have training.

6. Start my CPA.
Well, the prep classes for my CPA, I only have six to do. Must ignore the nay-sayers/positivity suckers and focus on actually getting it done. I know it will be a lot of work and stress, but I can do this.
7. Decorate my bedroom.
I don't want to spend time in there because it's kind of boring. I want an original piece of artwork, but I just don't know what I want. (If anyone see's anything I may like, message me)
8. Go to the movies alone.
I've never been to the movies alone and I love the movies. Who should care if I go alone.
9. Visit a new city in Canada.
Realistically, I won't be planning a continental trip any time soon, but I can visit a new city, that's attainable.
10. Knit some socks.
I'm ready, I can knit in the round, I can make anything now.

11. Declutter my house.
If you open a drawer or cupboard, you'll understand. I'm really good at hiding the clutter.
12. Read six personal development books.
One a month, it can be anything that makes me a better person.
13. Let go of old grudges. (Still not sure how I'll document that)
I have grudges. I feel like I'm very close to moving past those. Like my neighbours stay up late gaming and it's super annoying since my room is next to theirs. I'm going to let it go.
14. Stop using my credit card two weeks out of the month.
I love my credit card and it loves me, but sometimes it leaves me feeling tight.

15. Forgive myself everyday for any mistakes I make.
I am super hard on myself and it sucks. Accepting my mistakes and moving on will be super helpful.
16. Go on a hike.
I don't give off that "I love nature, live in the woods" vibe, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the outdoors.
17. Date.
I'm just going to make it a little bit more of a priority. Not a huge one, but a small priority. Maybe go on a few and actually find some interesting conversations? Learn to leave when I am bored so I don't sit through a mindless date and waste my time. I'm not sure, maybe just get used to them and eventually not be nervous during dates.
18. Improve my wine knowledge.
I hear it's super impressive as I get older to throw my knowledge out at parties.

19. Go to the theatre.
Even if it's a small play, at least I went. OHH or a musical!
20. Actually get up at 6am.
I set my alarm for six, but I am only out of bed at 6:30.
21. Do laundry at my house.
I'm getting a dryer in January. No more free laundry. It's a grown-up thing... yipee.

22. Make less of a mess in the kitchen.
If you've ever seen me cook, you'll know I use a lot of dishes. I do wash them though, it's just a lot of dishes.
23. Do something that scares me.
I mean dating scares me, but it has to be something else. Ohh goodness, I'll figure it out.
24. Start a bedtime routine.
I have to stop watching Netflix before bed. I mean I wash my face, but there's no sense of calming down. I also need to not eat sugar before bed because then I have weird dreams.
25. Take more baths.
I can't have that much Lush and not use it.
