VIB 20% Off Sale Haul

I love makeup, I also love skincare, so when I got my coupon code for the VIB sale, I was rather excited. Now I checked, my last Sephora haul was in March, so I feel fine sharing this with all of you (but we all know I have been to Sephora since then) Anyways, I did two rounds of shopping here mostly because the first round was for Christmas presents and for my overall enjoyment. The second round came 12-16 hours later when Sephora was like "spend x amount and become VIB Rouge".... which okay, seems extreme, but actually, I owe you all nothing, I'm an adult, I have to explain nothing to you.

There's a lot, so get a snack, a blanket, maybe some slippers and relax.

The first thing I got was a Nude Stix set. I've never even swatched a Nude Stix, but I've heard really great things about them and the gift set was perfect to try a few different shades. Plus, it came with a sharpener. I was a little disappointed when I removed the plastic and the lid came off and nicked the top of the lipstick, but the consistency made up for it. It glides on like butter, it's super pigmented, and the colour selection will be perfect for winer. The top shade is Purity, the middle is Royal, and the bottom shade is Retro, which is looking like my top shade right now.

The next thing I got was the BareMinerals Original Foundation, which once I purchased it, it sold out. I slightly panicked for a moment and then realized I would be fine since I had purchased it, so it would be mailed to me. I bought this in June and to be honest, I love this foundation, it's super light and provides build-able coverage. I also bought the Beautiful Finish Foundation brush which is supposed to be used with it, but any brush that is packed with bristles will work.

The next item I got was a Bite Beauty Agave Kisses Set which I wanted because my lips see a lot of wear a tear during the winter. I walk to work, I love matte lipstick, and I rarely exfoliate. What intrigued me about this was that the actual exfoliator was liquid based so I would be able to work it into my lips.

I also finally got Modern Friction Natures Gentle Dermabrasion from Origins! I tried a sample earlier this year and I just couldn't justify it at the time because I had other exfoliators I was using, but with 20% off, I was like "I'm getting it". It's the most gentle exfoliator I've ever used, and my face loves being exfoliated, but hates harsh scrubs. I love Origins so much, I haven't tried anything from them that I haven't loved.

I was running out of Urban Decay's All Nighter, so this was my 3rd repurchase of this product. I love it, especially when I get my foundation perfect and my eyes are pristine. It's a staple in my day-to-day.

Natasha Denona is a luxury makeup brand that I've always wanted to try, but her Palettes are on average $300. So when I saw the Chroma Crystal Top Coat, I thought "yes, I need that" It's amazing. I love shimmer, it's beautiful and it's honestly something I cannot wait to try. Tati even reviewed it and it even further confirmed my purchase. I mean it came in a glass jar, it's fabulous. The picture doesn't do it justice, watch Tati.

You know I love sheet masks and mud masks. I got the Pearl Face mask from Sephora, it's for perfecting and brightening. I also got the Green Clay mask it purifies and minimizes pores.

I also got a roller ball perfume. I don't wear a lot of perfumes, but when I do, floral scents are my favourite. It's the lemon blossom that makes this scent so refreshing. It's Citrine by Nest and it's the perfect scent. Also, the packaging was surprisingly luxurious and I was super impressed by it.

What Sephora haul isn't complete without including samples! I used my points to get this Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment in Starwoman, it's a vivd blue red, which is probably why I was so attracted to it. Also I love mini lip products because I never use up the entire lipstick because I change lipsticks so much.

Using my three free samples, which I did two orders so I got six free samples. I got two Fresh Sugar Nourishing Lip Balms. A Kate Somerville Wrinkle Warrior 2-in-1 plumping Moisturizer + Serum. An Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins renewal cream and an Energy-boosting Moisturizer (which I highly recommend and love). A Briogeo Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner which I am pumped to try as I have thin hair. Finally a L'Occitane en Provence Divine Cream, which just seemed nice.

Okay, if you made it to the end, you're awesome!

Thanks for reading, see you next week,

Samantha
