Favourites: Dry Skin Remedies

Hello everyone!
Dry skin is starting to become a problem, and I thought it would be great to share some of my favourite dry skin remedies. I have tried so many products over the years and these are my holy grail "I don't want my skin to hurt anymore" products. I've tried to include higher-end products and drugstore products for each category.
Hands: Cake Beauty Heavy Cream Intensive Hand Repair Balm. 20% shea butter, cruelty-free, and it's made in Canada. Oh and it smells like french vanilla. It's the best hand cream I've ever tried and I have severely dry hands. I first got this in my Ipsy Glam Bag and I can't compare it to anything because there's nothing this good. I apply it at night, but it absorbs really well and your hands will thank you. You can buy it online and it retails for $22/100 ml(totally worth it)
Glysomed Hand Cream. If you need an everyday moisturizer for your hands, this is the stuff. You can buy it unscented and it absorbs nicely, but a little goes a long way. You can buy this at Walmart for $2.87/50ml.

Body: The Body Shop Body Butter. My personal favourite is the coconut scented one, but they are all nice. It really is like slathering butter on your body and the moisture lasts quite a long time. If your skin is very very dry, I would recommend this to anyone. You can get it at The Body Shop and it retails at $21/200ml, but there's always sales.
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. This one is great for those times when you need to moisturize, but you have no time. It's incredibly absorbant and it's gentle on the skin. It also lasts quite a long time on the skin. It's basically unscented and has oatmeal which is soothing for the skin. You can get it at Walmart for $11.27/532ml.

Hair:
It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product. I love a good leave-in conditionner and this one does the trick. Not only does my hair stay healthier longer, but it's great for that extra bit of nourishment everyday. You can buy this at many salons and it retails at approximately $20/120ml.
L'Oreal EverCrème Nourishing Leave-in Spray. This is wonderful for everyday use. It's lightweight and it lasts forever. I really find it helps with maintaining healthy looking hair. You can get this at Shoppers Drug Mart or Walmart for approximately $11/250ml.

Feet:
Footlogix Cracked Heel Formula Mousse. I didn't think this was going to work and then it did. My feet are the worst, I cannot keep them moisturized to save my life and they are always painfully cracked. This helped them so much. I bought mine at a salon and I think that's the only place you can get it. It retailed for $24/4.23oz at Avalon.
O'Keeffe's Healthy Feet Foot Cream. I got this at Canadian Tire and I love it. It's creamy and it's wonderful for overnight use with a pair of socks. It's like foot glue, so you need socks and you will need to wash your hands after your apply it. It retails at $9.99/3.2oz.

Face:
Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Nigh Cream. I got this before I used night cream, but when I did start using it, I was amazed at how my skin started to improve. It's so nice and leaves your skin feeling so hydrated. You can get it at Walmart for $19.97/48ml.
Pond's Dry Skin Cream. I bought this as a daily moisturizer and when it didn't work because it was far to heavy for day use, I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. This stuff if amazing for dry skin! I was so using this at the wrong time of day, it's perfect for night use. You can get it at Walmart for $6.97/190ml.

Face Masks:
Fresh Rose Face Mask. Do you love the smell of roses and hydrating your skin? This mask is great when I've completely stripped my face when I am cleaning and exfoliating it. It goes on almost clear and you leave it on for 20-minutes before washing it off. It leaves the skin feeling amazing. You can purchase it at Sephora for $75/100ml.
Sheet Masks. I am obsessed with sheet masks! They are amazing cotton sheets that fit on your face and are jam packed with essence to moisturize, de-puff, brighten... you name it, there's probably a mask for it. I get mine at Winners for $7.99 for 5, but you can also get them at Walmart for about $2 a mask. Soko Glam also has a great assortment.

Eyes:
Cliniques All About the Eye's Rich. This saves my eyes every winter when my eyelids decided to become flakey. I absolutely love it as a nightly moisturizer and a day moisturizer because it absorbs so nicely. You can get this at Shoppers Drug Mart, Sears, and Sephora for $39/15ml.
Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Eye Treatment. I needed a new eye cream and I wanted one similar to Cliniques and this one works really well. It's good day or night because it isn't really heavy. At Walmart it retails at $23.98/13ml.

Lips:
Blistex Lip Medex. I don't have a high-end equivalent because this stuff if the best at healing chapped lips. I can use this a few times a day and my lips will be healthy and soft. I really don't enjoy lip balms that aren't moisturizing and you need to constantly re-apply. So this one is perfect. It's also medicated so that's why it works so well for the winter. At Walmart it retails at $2.94.

Tips to prep your skin for moisturizing:
- Exfoliate 2-3 times a week. I like the E.L.F exfoliating stick and I love the sea salt scrub from Lush. A wash cloth and a tooth brush will also work to exfoliate different area's in a pinch.
- Re-apply every night before bed. When you let the moisturizers work at night, you're giving it a chance to really soak into your skin without disturbing the process.
- Cover your hands and face when outside. It sounds obvious, but the more you cover up the better your chances of saving your skin.
- Avoid shampoos and conditioners with sulfates. Sulfates are a filler ingredient in a lot of products and all it does is dry the hair, meaning you will have to buy more product.
- Vaseline works really well as a multipurpose moisturizer. Pro-tip, if you're going skiing or you will be outside for a long period of time, take a little vaseline and put it on your nostrils to keep them moisturized all day.
I hope you all enjoyed my favourite dry-skin remedies and tips to prep your skin!
