My Favourite Fragrances

Hello everyone!

I love perfume, I think it's just this wonderful thing that you can add to yourself to demonstrate your presence. I love floral scents and I never buy the bottle because I am never going to get through a full bottle, but I do love buying roller ball perfumes. I have slowly been collecting perfumes that I love and that are me. I love all my perfumes, but these are definitely the ones I reach for the most.

Chloé This perfume was launched in 1975 and I actually just discovered it in a sample. It has notes of : Pink Peony, Freesia, Lychee, Magnolia Flower, Lily of the Valley, Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, Honey.

I love how light it is. It's very floral, but very mature. It's strong and you wont need much, but it is intoxicating and very feminine. The roller ball starts at $35.

Nest - Citrine The brand launched in 2008 with candles and then they launched perfumes. From what I can tell citrine is their newest scent. I thought it was going to be like a citrus perfume, but I was pleasantly surprised and I got the sample bottle with my Sephora points when I couldn't stop smelling it at the cash register. The notes are: Lemon Blossom, Lotus Flower, Freesia, Dew Drop Accord, Precious Woods. I can smell the lemon blossom, but its the freesia which is leaving the after note that I am in love with. The roller ball is $30.

Versace - Bright Crystal This was my first "oh my god I need this in my life" perfume. Its not incredibly floral, but it's more of my winter smell. Its the musk at the end of the notes that makes it very sensual and the best winter smell. It's not really strong, but it's just enough. The notes are: Iced Accord, Yuzu, Pomegranate, Peony, Magnolia, Lotus Flower, Acajou, Vegetal Amber, Musk. The roller ball retails at $30.

Elizabeth and James - Nirvana White

I got this on my birthday in ode to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The brand distills the duality between feminine sophistication and tailored structure. I love that this perfume has three notes and its the musk and peony that render it to me a sophisticated smell. It's a little strong, but it's very feminine and captivating. The roller ball is $30.

Marc Jacobs - Honey This doesn't really have a floral note in it, but it smells so delectable. It's light, it's energizing, and it just reminds me of a bright sunny day. I got this for my birthday and the notes are: Pear, Juicy Mandarin, Orange Blossom, Peach Nectar, Apricot, Honeysuckle, Honey, Golden Vanilla, Smooth Woods. It's the early notes of fruit mixed with the warmer notes at the end which I am attracted too. The roller ball retails at $34.

Giorgio Armani - Acqua di Gioia

This is the most intoxicating smell. It's captivating and leaves me wanting to re-apply because it smells so good. I actually broke my original roller ball of this a re-bought it because I love it so much. The notes are: Mint, Brown Sugar, Lemon, Jasmine, Peony, Pink Pepper, Cedarwood, Labdanum. It's the mint with the jasmine and cedarwood that I am completely attracted to. The roller ball retails at $28.

Alright, well my sinuses just had a smell over attack, so I'm going to go smell some coffee beans.

Thanks for reading and I hope you find a scent that you love. Samantha
