My Favourite Drugstore Foundations

Hello everyone,

I just finished my first round of 21 Day Fix and I kind of forgot to blog about anything else in that time. I was just really excited about the 21 Day Fix, but now it's time to talk about foundations.

My first favourite is Maybelline's Fit Me Shine-Free foundation. This is a medium to light coverage foundation and it's in a stick, so you can use a brush, but I just swipe it on my face and blend with my fingers. The stick has this anti-core shine strip on the inside as well. I really like to wear this one when I don't need a lot of coverage or I don't feel like wearing a lot makeup.

My second favourite is Maybelline's Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation. This is a really nice everyday foundation. It has medium to high coverage and is a liquid, so you can use a brush, sponge or your fingers. It does actually keep my face matte for a pretty long time and doesn't oxidize when its on your skin.

My third favourite is Maybelline's Dream Velvet foundation. You need a sponge for this one and a lot goes a long way. I love the medium to high coverage and it's pretty flawless once it's applied. It's got a gel and whipped formula and it lasts about 8 hours before it starts looking wonky.

My fourth favourite is L'Oreal's True Match Lumi Cushion foundation. This light to medium coverage is wonderful for the summer. It comes with a cushion/sponge soaked in foundation and it comes with a foam type applicator. I really like how it applies and the coverage is great throughout the day. My face is a little bit more oily with this product, but it's not a huge deal since it's at the end of the day and it's really not bad.

My fifth and last favourite is Revlon Colourstay. This stuff is the best. I love how much coverage I get and it's definitely high coverage. You can use a brush, a sponge, or your fingers to apply. I can wear this during the day and then it will work throughout the night and I don't even need to touch up my makeup all that much. It's wonderful for long nights and the winter.

Thanks for reading,

Samantha
